Jaeda Hoxter
I’m from Kent County, MD. I attend Kent County High School, I’m a senior. My passions are volleyball, track, spending time with family and friends, and playing with my dog. I also enjoy watching netflix mostly series about first responders (cops, firefighters, doctors, EMTs). I love building lego sets. I want to go to a 4 year HBCU and study social work or become an English teacher or an African American studies teacher. My mom is one of my home life inspirations, she loves music. She’s always singing around the house. I love calm music that talks about life, the good and bad aspects. Some of my favorite artists are Summer Walker, Jhene Aiko, and Kehlani. I’m excited to learn more about how African American culture is interpreted throughout Hip Hop Time Capsule.

My MC name is my nickname and my middle name combined. I use this name for everything. I like that it’s personal, my mom calls me by my middle name and using it as my MC name shows my appreciation for her. I think it's a calmer version of myself, I’m usually filled with energy, always talking. This is a more settled down version of me.
